Founded in 1950, the Bucharest Bookstore Company (CLB) is the oldest bookstore chain in Romania, with 75 years of continuous activity. It has the most extensive network of bookstores in Bucharest, with 37 locations and an online store. CLB offers a variety of products, including books, textbooks, school supplies, writing instruments, stationery, gifts, souvenirs, toys, and bags.

As an importer and distributor in the Romanian market, the Bucharest Bookstore Company has constantly diversified its product portfolio, thereby strengthening its position as an integrator of smart gifts. It successfully combines literature with high-quality porcelain items, jewelry, and handicrafts, including model sailing ships, souvenirs, statuettes, and handmade ceramic clocks.

Among the strategic partners that have contributed to the diversification of the company's product portfolio, facilitating increased market share and attracting a growing number of customers, are renowned companies such as Hanipol F.H. One of the most important and competitive product categories offered by the company is school supplies. For over 20 years, CLB's portfolio has included prestigious brands such as Faber-Castell, Lamy, Parker, Pilot, Rotring, Majewski, and Koh-I-Noor. Additionally, the stationery range complements CLB's offer through products from recognized brands such as Esselte, Leitz, Apli, and Wedo.

In 2023, according to data from the Romanian Ministry of Finance, CLB ranks third among the most important businesses in the bookstore sector, with a turnover of 11 million euros and a profit of 1 million euros.

In the last two decades, our company has maintained a leading position, consistently ranking first in the National Top of Private Firms in Romania, a ranking based on industry sectors and the gross profit of medium-sized enterprises.

Fondata in anul 1950, Compania de Librarii Bucuresti (CLB) este cel mai vechi lant de librarii din Romania, avand 75 de ani de activitate continua. Aceasta detine cea mai extinsa retea de librarii din Bucuresti, cu 37 de locatii si un magazin online. CLB ofera o varietate de produse, inclusiv carti, manuale, articole scolare, instrumente de scris, papetarie, cadouri, suveniruri, jucarii si genti.

Compania de Librarii Bucuresti, in calitate de importator si distribuitor pe piata romaneasca, si-a diversificat constant portofoliul de produse, consolidandu-si astfel pozitia ca integrator de cadouri inteligente. Aceasta reuseste sa combine armonios literatura cu articole de portelan de calitate superioara, bijuterii si obiecte de artizanat, inclusiv machete de veliere, suveniruri, statuete si ceasuri din ceramica realizate manual.

Una dintre cele mai importante si competitive categorii de produse oferite de companie este cea a articolelor scolare. In plus, gama de birotica completeaza oferta CLB prin intermediul produselor unor marci recunoscute, precum Esselte, Leitz, Apli si Wedo.

In anul 2023, conform datelor Ministerului de Finante din Romania, CLB se situeaza pe locul 3 in clasamentul celor mai importante afaceri din domeniul librariilor, cu o cifra de afaceri de 11 mil euro si un profit de 1 mil euro.

In ultimele doua decenii, compania noastra a mentinut o pozitie de lider, ocupand constant locul intai in Topul National al Firmelor Private din Romania, clasament realizat pe baza domeniilor de activitate si a profitului brut al intreprinderilor mijlocii.
